With the dining scene across Asia exploding at the moment with hundreds of new restaurants, exciting chefs and flavor searching food lovers biting down on a part of the world that's packed with variety, tradition and beautiful ingredients - it's no surprise that so much attention is being focused on this part of the world.

As Southeast Asia grows in prosperity and consumer sophistication, dining out is becoming more and more common. A recent study discovered that diners eat out at least four to six times a week. The challenge is in ensuring your restaurant enjoys top of mind awareness when diners choose where to eat.

With Western food growing more common in Southeast Asia, there are many restaurants offering similar fare. It may be time to stand out from the crowd and offer something slightly different. Add a local spin to a classic recipe to make it more exciting and relevant to our local palate, like introducing a teriyaki chicken burger. You can even try experimenting with Asian sauces on Western dishes. Offer upscale versions of fast food, like curry flavoured fries, to ride on the rising trend of Western food.
