Nessius. From then on, the Rebbe never used the excuse that he required the instruction! Nevertheless the Rebbe still didn’ t officially accept the Nessius.
Chabad organizations from allover the world wrote to the Rebbe a letter of Hiskashrus asking for the Rebbe to agree to have all Chabad organizations under his leadership.
Rabbi Bentzion Shemtov from England printed stationery for the Lubavitch School with a heading of,“ Under the leadership of the Lubavitcher Rebbe Shlita”. He then sent a letter to Rebbetzin Chana on this stationery
He immediately received a telegram from the Rebbe saying,“ I was shocked to see my name on the stationery of Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim of London. I insist that you burn all the stationery and refrain from printing any more of the like without my permission!”
FRIDAY; LAG B‘ OMER, I8TH OF IYAR- EREV SHABBOS EMOR:
At the Farbrengen the Rebbe related some stories. He told that the Mittler Rebbe used to bless barren women to have children who would grow up to be Chassidim. Then the Rebbe said:“ Tomorrow every one should ask the Rebbe, the“ Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai” of our generation, for children, life, and happiness.”
The Rebbe together with an entourage of buses went to the Ohel. Before they departed, everyone gave the Rebbe a Pan. This was the first time that the Rebbe accepted Panim
