Yechidus with the Friediker Rebbe on this topic, and then the Friediker Rebbe handed to the Rebbe different items that had been passed down from Rebbe to Rebbe through the generations!
Ziknai Hachassidim used to speak about the Bittul and
Hiskashrus that the Rebbe had to the Friediker Rebbe:“ Like a servant in front of his master.” Even after the Histalkus the Rebbe would stand in the Friediker Rebbe’ s room with immense Bittul.
Anash and Tmimim spoke amongst themselves on the nature of the Rebbe’ s Farbrengens; how in the middle of a
Sicha, the Rebbe would break into intense sobbing emanating from the depth of his heart. After a few moments he would continue speaking as though nothing had occurred.
TUESDAY, 11TH OF ADAR:
Throughout the Shloshim, the Rebbe wore his Shabbos clothing( a black hat, Sirtuk, black tie, etc.). Today, the Rebbe began to wear his short jacket( as he did before Yud
Shevat), but continued wearing his black hat throughout the year( as opposed to the gray hat he was previously accustomed to wear).
Rabbi Levitin commented:“ During the Shloshim, we saw the Rebbe wearing a Sirtuk. But the fact that the Rebbe has now stopped, indicates that he is too modest to accept the Nessius! Therefore, Chassidim should approach the Rebbe
