Rabbi Jacobson gave a Shiur in Tanya on the 27th Perek of Igeres Hakodesh, which speaks about the Histalktus of
Tzaddikim. Rabbi Shmuel Levitin then conducted a Farbrengen and spoke at length on the topic of“ Shmiras Hasedorim.”
In one of Reb Shmuel’ s Farbrengens he said,“ The fact that the Rebbe answers questions pertaining to Inyonim of
Ruchnius, may be explained simply that the question is one which is spoken about in Seforim, and therefore the Rebbe answers accordingly. That the Rebbe answers questions dealing with Gashmius, like Refuah, Parnasah, etc., is a clear proof that he has accepted upon himself the Nessius!” Here are a few stories and comments that Chassidim heard from the Friediker Rebbe concerning the Rebbe: 1)“ He has a complete, straight and strong mind; he is completely different.”
2) A Chasid went to the Friediker Rebbe for Yechidus regarding a personal problem. Suddenly, in the middle of the Yechidus, the Friediker Rebbe began talking about the greatness of the Rebbe. The Chasid could not understand why the Friediker Rebbe did that. Only a short while later, the Friediker Rebbe passed away, and the reason became clear to the Chasid.
