SHABBOS TOLDOS, 2ND OF KISLEV:
Lately the Ba’ al Koreh, Dovid Raskin, calls up the Rebbe to the Torah every Monday, Thursday, Shabbos, Shabbos
Mincha, etc. People started to say that it’ s not respectful to give the Rebbe so many Aliyos. On hearing this, the Rebbe dismissed the complaint.
TUESDAY, CHAG HAGEULAH, 19TH OF KISLEV:
After Maariv, a huge crowd assembled for the Rebbe’ s
Farbrengen at 770. Speakers were set up on the walls so that everyone could hear the Farbrengen. The pushing was unbearable; there wasn’ t an inch of space. People were hanging from the walls, on top of benches and tables, peering through windows and in any other area where a glimpse of the Rebbe was possible. It was said, that since the Rebbe came to America, there was never such a big crowd in 770.
SHABBOS VAYESHEV, 23RD OF KISLEV:
Today at the Farbrengen the Rebbe said that when a
Chasid receives an instruction from a Rebbe he must fulfill it right away without any hesitation or contemplation on whether he understands it.
