Youth Caravan
Youth Caravan is an initiative started by Alternativi International organisation. The idea of the project is to go to different cities of Bulgaria and spread information about Erasmus + Programme. All the organisation staff and volunteers are involved in the initiative.
The tradition of Youth Caravan started last year, in summer 2016 and visited 8 cities of Bulgaria. The initiative was implemented successfully, so Alternativi team decided to repeat the project and visit other cities as well.
As above mentioned, the main aim of the initiative is to inform as many people as possible around Bulgaria about what possibilities they have to go abroad and get formal and non-formal education or which Erasmus mobilities they can participate in. Furthermore, Alternativi team introduced them the vacancies the organisation has now in terms of different Erasmus+ mobilities..
We visited seven cities during our Caravan with motivated volunteers and coordinators. First destination was Sandanski, after Gorna Oryahovitsa, then came Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Kazanlak, Plovdiv. We reached approximately 2 thousand people.
