From Den Mom to
Entrepreneur, She Does it All!
H
eather Corrigan has always had an
eye for style. Before starting her two
companies, GoGorilla Media, for
which she has been VP of Sales for 16 years,
and her more recent endeavor, Heather’s
Heydayz, a party planning business which
she runs, Heather graduated from FIT
and was a fashion buyer for Century 21
Department Store.
“My good eye (for fashion) transferred to
parties I would throw, cards I send out to
people, always unique and different,” she
says. With her e ye and sales abilities, along
with her husband, Mike’s amazing cooking
skills, starting her party planning business
was a no-brainer.
As if her two businesses don’t keep her
busy enough, Heather is also a mom of two
childen, both of whom act and model; she’s
a class mom, a den mom, girl scout leader,
stand up comic, award-winning board
member at her temple, and the list goes on!
We asked Heather a few questions to try and
get inside the head of this supermom:
What does your company, GoGorilla
Media do?
We do the coolest stuff: bar promotions,
{24}
street
promotions,
projections,
food trucks, video trucks and much much
more!
We work with every client you can imagine..
ABC, BET, Museum of Natural History,
American Express and many more.
You play many roles in business and in
family. How do you do it and find the
time?
Everyone always asks me that and the
answer is I just do it!
I also find scheduling things in advance as
opposed to just doing things last minute
helps you see your schedule as a whole and
plan accordingly. Also my husband is a great
support.
What is so unique about your event
business?
The customization we can offer.. and my
personal touch. I can handle every aspect:
logos, food, I even show up and serve
the food. I also offer personal shopping,
personalized gifts and more!
