Life U ’ s Rebranding Effort Emphasizes Inherent Empowerment

for the Next Generation of Vitalistic Visionaries
So , what ’ s in a brand ? To start , a brand comprises many elements , including designs , fonts , messaging , colors , logos and the like . But a brand is much more than just what it is built from ; its effectiveness is measured by what is built from it . Great brands create a culture , one in which people recognize themselves and gain a sense of belonging to something bigger . How does a brand inspire its community and those who are prospective members of its community ? What feelings are invoked by the brand narrative , the tone of the copy and the color palettes ? Who are the people the brand is targeting with its messaging , and how does the brand meet the needs of those audiences ?
Specifically , a brand is :
A promise that creates an expectation we must deliver on .
A claim of distinction . What is the characteristic or quality that sets us apart ?
Unchanging . Over time , products , services and offerings will come and go , but the essence of the brand remains constant .
The focal point that defines how value is delivered and how effectively our mission is embodied .
The Life University brand is a reflection of who we are . Everything we do and say , from marketing materials to social posts to personal interactions , creates an impression of the University ’ s energy , spirit and character .
“ A new branding campaign doesn ’ t just happen overnight ,” notes Life University President Dr . Rob Scott . “ Life University ’ s Board of Trustees , Executive Leadership Team , the Marketing Department and branding agency Mindpower collaboratively developed the University ’ s new Brand Toolkit , Social Media Toolkit and the Brand Expression ‘ It ’ s in You ’ over the course of the past couple of years .”
‘ It ’ s in you ’ refers to the innate intelligence that ’ s at the core of Life U ’ s philosophy of Vitalism , as well as the inherent ability of Life U students , faculty , staff and alumni to understand that intelligence and tap into it . It speaks to human potential — every person ’ s latent strengths and talents .

Scott . “ We strive to recognize and nourish the essence and life force within each and every member of the Life U community . That ’ s what truly makes Life University a special place .
