and health experience than you ever will . Listen to them , acknowledge their experience and use your skills to be a partner on their journey .
Third , embrace community . You do not have to be everything for everyone . Lean on your colleagues , your friends and your family . In community is where we thrive .
Fourth , the body doesn ’ t make mistakes . Innate intelligence is always working 100 %. If you frame every health problem in the context of the body not making mistakes , your eyes will be open to a whole new understanding and appreciation for innate intelligence .
Fifth , you don ’ t heal anyone . The only person you can heal is yourself . As chiropractors , we will have the unique opportunity to provide a neurological and physical input to the body . From there , the innate intelligence of the person must take over .
Sixth , sometimes the best answer is the simplest one . In our world , we tend to overcomplicate things . Sometimes it ’ s as simple as getting back to being human and living an ancestrally consistent life .
Seventh , the work is just beginning . We should all be incredibly proud of this accomplishment , but the learning is not over just because school has ended . We all have a responsibility to continue bettering ourselves so that we can show up for our patients .
As B . J . Palmer said , ‘ You never know how farreaching something you think , say or do will affect the lives of millions tomorrow .’ Millions of people are out there waiting to reclaim their health and happiness . Be the light to show them that it is possible .

Can everyone turn around and look to the back for me ? And does anyone see anything ? Do you see how far you have come to be here ? The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you have come , and we all made it . And now , I want to ask everyone to look at the person next to you . I would like you to look carefully at their face . And do you notice their wrinkles and eye bags ? And after all the bombardment and challenges from Life U , we all made it , and we are all getting old .
I still remember the early time I was here at Life U . I was in cultural shock . I kept

questioning myself . ‘ Am I on the right path ? Is this the place where I should be ? I gave up my job and flew around the whole planet to come here to pursue my dream . There ’ s no room for error , but I soon realized that Life U is a truly amazing place to meet wonderful people . It is full of diversity and opportunity , and everyone here carries their guiding principle really well — to give , to do , to love , and to serve . We all believe in the willingness and desire to serve our community and our fellows . Everyone here that I have met is so warm , friendly and passionate about helping take care of each other like a tribe .
In the end , I would like to finish my speech with the quote from Cesar Pavese . ‘ We do not remember days . We remember moments . The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten .’ And I ’ m truly grateful for whoever crossed paths in my life . And without meeting you all , I would never have become the person I am today . And I will forever
remember all of your faces , your smiles and every word of encouragement everyone ever said to me . I wish everyone all the best at this new beginning of your journey no matter where you ’ re going . Make every day worth living .

Today is a day to be thankful and to be inspired . I am thankful for this journey . It ’ s not easy changing my profession at my middle age — leaving my comfort zone , never going home even one time because of COVID . I ’ m truly grateful because it ’ s worth doing it right , and I did make the best decision in my life .
To my fellow classmates , we made it . I still remember three and a half years ago when I came here to the states , I told myself at my age of nearly 40 years old , ‘ I don ’ t need new friends , especially friends only half of my age .’
But I was wrong — very , very wrong — because without you guys , my chiropractic journey would not be the same ever . You guys are my brother and sister , or son and daughter , on the other side of the world .
I love you all , so when I knew I had to give a speech , I thought about it for a moment . I want to say something I ’ m really good at , so I can speak with authority like Dr . Sid Williams always wanted us to do .
So , what am I really good at ? I am good at being a mom . I love people by being their mom . I ’ ll buy them stuff , cook them food , help each other study , making people follow their care plans . Being a mom , in a way , is very similar to being a chiropractor . Both of them require you to be really loving ; I mean unconditionally loving . When Dr . Sid Williams founded Life University in 1974 with the Lasting Purpose , which is to give , to do , to love , to serve , out of your own abundance — If I have a chance to change the order , I will put love first because , without love , the do , give , serve means nothing . Action is nothing without love . Take your time ; love the person in front of you because healing doesn ’ t start when you lay your hands on their back , but it ’ s at the moment when they come in the office being loved . Love intentionally because love is the best technique you can offer to them .

No one is perfect because perfection doesn ’ t exist . It is just not achievable . Instead of seeking to be perfect , seek to keep going , to keep moving , to keep learning . Always be humble and eager to learn and improve . Be a kinder self , be a better self , be a more loving self every day .
