Dual National Champions . This has taught me that the contained constant pressure of hard work eventually pays off .
We must move on from this chapter of life and readily prepare for the next one because this was just the warm-up . In wrestling , my coaches always told us to make the warm-up mimic our first match . That way , when the first match comes along , you already blew your lungs out , shook the nerves and created a game plan . Graduating college should be seen as a simulation for the gateway to a master ’ s program or a career opportunity . We are just getting started !
Today will be memorable because we have made greatness . Remember this moment as a reward for making the right choices . Be accountable to yourself and take pride in your achievements . Learn from your mistakes and become the best version of yourself .

When we arrived at Life University , we were told this is a campus of first recognition . When you encounter someone in your path , you are encouraged to speak first and greet the other person . This simple gesture – a warm hello – closes the distance between you . Although I was skeptical about this at first , I have seen this tradition make everyone here feel welcome and connected . Under this basic philosophy , we thrive together as one community . This positive and supportive environment has kept us going through coffee-fueled 7:00 a . m .’ s , late-night study sessions , board exams and learning the 10 million steps to side posture .
Soon after , however , we found ourselves isolated and alone as a result of the pandemic . We watched as suffering people around the globe were forced to learn what we had already discovered here : human connection is healing connection . Bridging the distance between each other in whatever way possible is life-sustaining . Through our training here , we have been given a gift . We have been taught how to make vital connections , both within ourselves and to one another . We understand the power that made the body , heals the body . We recognize the true value of reaching out from within to close the distance between us – how to help someone else go from just existing to truly thriving and turn just getting by into something really extraordinary . No one has all the answers , but we have been given the knowledge and tools to solve these and other problems . Perhaps most importantly , our experiences during the past several years have taught us that compassion and connection are crucial to building these bridges .
So now we too must emerge from this community and carry its vitalistic force forward . We will make the changes the world needs next . We will make life-altering connections and build bridges between one another . We will help to ignite the innate . And no matter what your discipline , your focus or technique , we are forever united through Life University ’ s underlying principles . We go forth now to give , to do , to love , to serve and to fulfill our Lasting Purpose .

Today is a day of celebration . We look forward to the future of joyful anticipation and high expectations . However , I also think this a wonderful day to look back on the past and remember how we all made it here . These past few years have been nothing short of crazy , and by crazy , I mean a roller-coaster ride that never wanted to stop for a very long time . I suppose that ’ s what college has been to us : adaptation , acceptance of crazy situations and being optimistic . But that ’ s beautiful because it shows this inherent resilience that , despite all odds , we come together .
Without the support of our family , teachers and friends , we would not be here today . Parents , thank you for your support . You never gave up on us when we struggled , and your unconditional love for us has shaped and built us up every day and in every way . Our hearts are filled with gratitude .
All the professors at Life University prepared every day and sincerely strove to deepen our knowledge in our classes . They have helped mentor us to be knowledgeable and contributing members to our society , and we thank you for your efforts and your passion .
Friends and classmates , I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge your contributions . I could easily list traits that I admire and desire in each of you . Thank you for all the encouragement , energy and enthusiasm you have offered our class over the years .
Apart from academics , something that I have learned at Life University is the art of cooking and baking healthy food . As I was preparing this speech , I realized we are a lot like baked goods . When you are baking , every ingredient is important , along with the right amount , for the successful creation of what you are making . If you leave even one ingredient out , you are changing the taste or texture of the finished product . In our case , all our ingredients are the people who have helped us and played a role in shaping to who we are today . If you take out even one of them , you would not be the same person you are .
We are all smart and lucky to receive a highclass education . I challenge you to go out and make a difference in the world , and as you do so , you will be able to see the influence of others more clearly and feel the pride of your positive influence on others .

To my fellow graduates , we did it ! Today , you earn the title of Doctor of Chiropractic . Today , your hard work , your willingness to sacrifice and your passion to serve culminate into an incredible accomplishment .
I ’ d like to share seven salient lessons that I ’ ve learned while at Life University . While some of them may challenge your existing paradigms , I hope they resonate with you and that you will also let them ground your choices and actions in practice and in life .
First , act and interact with integrity . That seems straightforward , but often people fail to live their own life the way they expect others to . Do you believe that your practice members would most benefit from a lifetime of regular chiropractic care ? Are you educating others about changing their diet and lifestyle ? Are you doing those things in your own life ? Live a life consistent with the one you ask other people to live .
Dr . Ritesh Bhatia
Second , be confident , yet humble . You have a wealth of knowledge and experience , and you should approach each aspect of your life with confidence . Do not allow confidence to become arrogance , however . Remember that the patient knows more about their body
