It allows PAGE NUMBER - 22 Angi Lund, Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems ‘s Carol Erikson, Vice President, GBSD - Space Systems Division presented a gift to Dale Steenbergen, President/CEO of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce during their visit. The objective was to connect their executives with a diverse group of Laramie County leadership to share thoughts and insights regarding aspects of the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) mission and the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent effort. Erikson stated following their visit, “We are ex- ceptionally grateful for the insightful feedback pertaining to the direct use of local contractors, having a local Northrop Grumman point of contact in Cheyenne, and impacts on local infrastructure.” Northrop Grumman is one of three contractors bidding on the weapon upgrade and the United States Military will narrow this two companies during the fall of 2017. This is an important economic topic for Laramie County and a prima- ry focus of the Wyoming Wranglers program.
