ABOUT YOUNG SHIP TANZANIA ORGANIATION.
On 1 January 2016, the sustainable development goals (SDGs) which form the core of the United
Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development came into force. This action plan consisting
of 17 goals and 169 targets is based on a perspective of social, economic and environmental
development which translates into three main principles: put an end to all forms of poverty, fight
inequality, and tackle climate change, all the while making sure “to leave no one behind”, as
stated by the United Nations.
