In addition, Yotta DCL provides machine-based Traffic Speed Condition surveys( SCANNER) for Anglesey.
Because Anglesey did not have UKPMS( UK Pavement Management System) software, the Council was reliant on Yotta DCL’ s expertise to provide it with the Key Performance Indicators and Whole of Government Accounting reports following the surveys.

New Horizons to presenting survey data
As the relationship developed, the opportunity arose to show Horizons to Iolo Jones and his colleagues.
“ Yotta DCL’ s consultants came to us with Horizons. We were very impressed with how user friendly the software is to get quick answers. Our engineers and highways inspectors were able to use it too. They could quickly upload our SCANNER and Skid Resistance Surveys and add other information such as reactive works and complaints into the system. There is also the potential for us to map road traffic incidents on the network map. We decided that Horizons would be a step in the right direction for Anglesey and put it on trial. Using it we could see that we could move from worst-first to a priority driven methodology for our maintenance and repair schemes,” says Iolo Jones.
