Supporting practice change

Implementing grazing management improvements takes time , effort and investment , and delivers considerable productivity and environmental benefits .
NQ Dry Tropics ’ field officers supported landholders to improve practices through site visits , workshops delivered by high-quality presenters , and field events at which landholders could learn from each other while observing the impact of practice changes .
Incentives were made available to accelerate the on-ground application of what they had learnt .
