NQ Dry Tropics ’ Grazing Program supports and empowers graziers to improve all aspects of their grazing enterprise , for better productivity , sustainability and drought resilience .
Our Grazing Team works across the region providing extension , information and support through workshops , training and incentives to enhance the capacity of primary producers to implement best management practices .
During 2023-24 this work was delivered through the following projects :

This year extension officers helped graziers with property planning and grazing land management , conducted a range of educational events and facilitated large and small-scale landscape remediation , to reclaim productive grazing land and reduce the impacts of soil erosion on waterways and the Great Barrier Reef .
