Northern Beef Producers Expo
NQ Dry Tropics was a major sponsor of the 2022 Northern Beef Producers Expo in Charters Towers . As part of our commitment to the event , we hosted the ‘ Top Rail Forums ’ delivered by nine speakers , each an expert in a particular facet of the industry .
Fit4RuralFutures Sports Camp
NQ Dry Tropics was proud to once again sponsor the Fit4Rural Futures Sports Camp , run by the Isolated Children ’ s Parents ’ Association ( ICPA ) Charters Towers branch . The camp gave children and parents from rural areas a chance to have fun and make community connections .
Our grazing team organised the speakers , comprising leading Australian producers , scientists and advisors , who shared their experiences of beef enterprises being managed for profitability , productivity and ecological sustainability .
The forums were hosted by The Herding Change Through Grassroots Recovery project , funded by the partnership between the Australian Government ’ s Reef Trust and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation , and delivered by NQ Dry Tropics and the Dalrymple Landcare Committee .
