RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation Action Plan Approaches completion
NQ Dry Tropics continued to develop a Reconciliation Action Plan ( RAP ), demonstrating our commitment to meaningful action to advance reconciliation .

The RAP , undertaken through Reconciliation Australia , is based around the core pillars of relationships , respect and opportunities .
There are four types of RAP – Reflect , Innovate , Stretch and Elevate – which allow organisations to continuously develop their reconciliation commitments . and stakeholders in reconciliation , and developing and piloting innovative strategies to empower Traditional Owners .
The process has involved extensive consultation with staff , the Traditional Owner Management Group , and the Board .
Our Innovate RAP focuses on developing and strengthening relationships with Traditional Owner partners in the region , engaging staff
