Nowadays . Sydney Harbour is becoming more and more congested as are other areas such as the Swan River in Western Ausrratia . This could also perhaps apply Lo areas of Port Phillip and Moreton Bay , but the PittwaLer has no worries . The club has Lhe wholeofBroken Bay and the whole of the Pacific Ocean in close proximity , which enables the separation of divisions to allow racing either inside or outside the Pinwacer .
The other aspect is that whilst just a few years ago a big percentage of the club ' s members lived some distance from the club . a recem study shows that a much larger percentage of club members now live near the clubrooms at Green PoinL , and thaL L11e average age bracket of members is now mucll lower .

( iv ) development within the present bouhdarics . The water boundary limit has been reached . the ma ri najettie .~ extend imo the Pinwaier as far as the aul . borities allowed when permission was sought to excend facilities in 1980 .
