Did you know that today more people died from being overweight than hunger ? Many people , including children , are suffering from obesity or being overweight .
Research data shows that the population of people with obesity has tripled since 1975 to nearly 2.1 billion in 2021 , accounting for approximately 30 % of the world ’ s total population .
Childhood obesity is also a serious problem , placing many children at risk of poor health . Temptation of fast food , lack of exercise , and malnutrition are some key reasons .
The central idea for the “ Warrior Fitness ” program is to improve everyone ’ s well-being . As trainers , we were tasked to test , rate , conduct training , and provide suggestions for our “ clients ”. “ Clients ” here are students from different grades in the school as well as staff and teachers .
We learned how to record data , analyze data and become a good thinker on what suggestions or solutions we would present to our clients . We must be resilient and show perseverance with this program . We , as trainers , needed to be strict on our clients and responsible and careful in collecting data , otherwise the data would be wrong , and therefore our client ’ s training program would be wrong as well .
We used a PowerPoint presentation to check on what items to test , what activities to practice , and how to rate our clients . For the rating , there were several categories that allowed us to determine what exercises to give our clients . For example , for the 800 meters run , you must complete the running within 4-5 minutes to receive a rating of excellent . Excellent is the best grade you could receive .
We helped our clients improve on their cardiovascular endurance , their muscular endurance , and flexibility .
Muscular endurance is separated into two main parts , including the upper body muscular endurance and the core muscular endurance . The trainers would first ask clients to complete certain activities , such as push-ups , planks , the sit and reach , or long-distance running , and then collect
