Lately, profound guidance has been received on Truth. The more courageously we deal with our own truths, the more we are able to grow and move beyond the same patterns, the same routines, the same fears.

For many of us, our own truth starts with what we are busy with every day. Therefore I would like to explore one of the five Reiki principles “Just for today I will do my work honestly”

A very important part of living a harmonious life is honesty in dealing with one self – to be honest with oneself is to face the truth in all things. Sometimes we choose to perceive our reality to be different or we choose to deny the truth about the reality of a situation. Not to hurt or harm ourselves intentionally, but just perhaps because of fear of rejection or guilt. Yet, on the other hand, if we are then ultimately faced with the truth, we become disjointed, hurt or angered.

It is so, that sometimes the truth hurts us, or others and it is hard to deal with in our world.

We have to know this:

Deep within us, we have the courage and strength to look at our own truths deeply, examine our own behaviour in order to then see the purpose this situation and/or person has on our lives…this is where the healing happens and this is where the truth sets us free.

If we face our life honestly, we can more clearly see the lessons that we are here to learn... see the learning’s, understand the purpose or at least understand that there is a Divine Purpose for everything that happens to us.

There is a principles that teaches: “The world becomes clear when I am clear.”

Once we see and come to clarity, it is then that the hurt, anger or rejection turns into compassion. Compassion for the other person, the situation or ourselves. This is the gift of truth.

To then live in truth is to be aligned with your Higher Self’s purpose.

Living in truth is simple, the least complex way to live. Truth brings clarity. If you are honest with yourself, you can then project honesty onto others – it becomes easier to then “do unto others as you would have others do unto you”

Let’s do our work honestly, let’s walk our journeys honestly, let’s speak our truth, with love and mindfulness – so that we are being truthful to our Higher Self. This truth is reinforced by love, love for yourself and others which in turn will create harmony in your life. So, just for day, live in truth, visualised by love, and do your work honestly.
