What is the Holistic Network all about?
Meaning of Holistic – adjective: characterized by the belief that the parts of something are intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.
So, now you ask – “Why a Holistic Network?”
Xtraordinary Women is a platform that Leads, Inspires, Supports and Recognises Entrepreneurs. Not some entrepreneurs – all entrepreneurs. We are a community of business women and entrepreneurs that ‘network’ towards building our communities businesses and enriching each other’s lives. Our philosophy has always been that if one of us has a dream – we will go out of our way to support and recognise that dream within our network and I’m sure you’ll all remember those moments where we’ve rolled up our sleeves and jumped in to help you achieve your dream or your target.
The simple truth behind the Holistic Network is that through one of our members and long-time supporters, Michelle Vooght we discovered need. We in essence discovered a whole market that is not taken care with a ‘networking environment’. As Xtraordinary Women’s mission is to Lead, Inspire, Support and Recognise we decided to Lead Michelle Vooght in her dream to Inspire the holistic market into forming a network community of Support and Recognition for the soul work that they do in our community.
For many of us the term “Holistic” refers to the alternative, the unknown, the scary and/or the not so explored modalities of healing or of personal growth and development. For others, it is a world that is known, where healing might have taken place or where forgiveness and love were experienced. Whatever it may be for you or for me, it is a reality that the entrepreneurs and individuals working in this field do not have the same platform or business guidance as what other, corporate or integrated business ventures might have. Whilst we do not judge others for their likes, dislikes, views, religious or political alignments – Xtraordinary Women is a non- judgmental network for ALL entrepreneurs, we would like to encourage our members and associates to do the same – for not to do so is to box yourself and to do that is surely short sighted and limiting.
In leading our members and our associates forward in a better life we where are all informed, inspired, supported, recognized and ultimately led through a community ‘oneness’ that supports us all in our business endevours – I would like to put forward that there is a very dire need for a network platform for holistic businesses and consumers where they too can access business products and services, guidance, information, support, leadership and recognition. In a world where – alternatives and options are the consumer’s right – Xtraordinary Women have pledged as part of their mission to Lead, Inspire, Support and Recognise all Women Entrepreneurs in South Africa – to lead the market in our Holistic Business Network offering in the form of the Xtraordinary Women Holistic Network – hosted by Michelle Vooght. This network chapter is designed to educate, lead, support, recognise and above all provide a community in order to help the relevant business grow and flourish and thus provide access, education and inspiration to our South African communities with regards to their right as a consumer to the alternative approach to daily living.
The Xtraordinary Women Network has thus far experienced a slower more gradual growth. The chapter has however been blessed with a profound essence of inspiration, healing, love and compassion that goes beyond words and heals, inspires, motivates and supports where it is needed. It is a network where strangers become friends and ultimately customers and supporters. It is a morning where everybody leaves with the parting words of: “This was just what I needed to hear today”. Ultimately it is a reason to believe in the ultimate success of the Xtraordinary Women’s Holistic Network chapter.
