ENGLISH VERSION Opes International INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENT PROJECTS 26 The sport and social promotion projects implemented by OPES are the bricks to build the walls of a new society. To shape a solid structure, it is necessary to have strong foundations and a binding material that cements each centimeter built. The values ​​of sport and physical activities fulfill these two delicate tas k s. The value of the work developed by OPES, based on the idea that recreational and sport activities favor th e psycho-physical well- being, has been recognized in Italy as well as abroad. At the European level, OPES is member of ENGSO (European Non-Governmental Sports Organization) and through it is engaged in the promotion and enhancement of sport at grassroots level. Together with the other members and partners of ENGSO, OPES i s carrying out various projects that are having and will have a strong impact on the society, also by producing models that can be used by sport organizations and associations from the various European countries. “Come In” project (www.comeinproject.com), is born within this framework, with the aim to create and increase the offers of inclusive sport activities involving young people with and without disabilities at the grassroots level. The project is coming to an end and will be concluded with a final event, held in France from 24 th to 26th of October. After a first training phase, involving 24 coaches, instructors, volunteers, youth workers and sports leaders, the national teams from three countries (Italy, France and the United Kingdom), have planned and implemented pilot activities in their realities. The results of the activities will be also included in the “Come In-Toolkit”, a guideline prepared by the partners of the project (OPES, SPARC, ENGSO Youth, ANESTAPS and Special Olympics) that will support members and all sports operators to implement inclusive sports activities in their local context.
