Detailing and annotations
The next step is to associate a
Keynote file with your project.
We will be using the default
file that comes with Revit. Go
to the Annotate TAB, expand
the TAG panel downwards
and click on Keynote Settings.
The Keynote Settings dialogue
window will open. Click on the
Browse button to locate the
default Keynote file from
Autodesk. This should be
located inside the default Revit
Content Library. Click OK
There are a couple of other
options too. You can browse
to the location where you
saved the .txt file.
The file Path Type can be
Absolute, Relative or At
Library Locations.
You can also set the number
to be by Sheet or Keynote
Placing Keynotes on your
plan. On the Annotate TAB
Click on the Keynote button.
The top half of the button tells
you which type of Keynote you
are going to place. The drop
down, bottom half of the
button lets you choose which
type of Keynote you are going
to place. Remember the Revit
remembers the last type of
Keynote that you used.
