WORKSHOP 16 – KEYNOTES
Keynotes in Revit use an external information source, typically a .txt file, to tag and annotate elements
in your Revit project. These notes can be per Element, User Defined and Material.
These tags can display a code or number that relates to a description. You can display either the
code or the description.
To reference these tags and display the meaning of the codes you use a keynote Legend.
There is a Third Party programme that can be used to manage the .txt file for the Keynotes
Setting up the use of Keynotes in your Revit project.
