November 11 , 2020 : Larry H . Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 104th ( G ) in Denver participated in a special Veterans Day event honoring U . S . Army veteran Spc . Delicia Jackson . Jackson received a vehicle courtesy of the Freedom Alliance and U . S . Bank . The vehicle was presented at the dealership , which also provided a 125-point inspection , detailing , and a seven-year limited warranty .
November 11 , 2020 : Three LHM dealerships in Avondale , Arizona , announced they are hosting a three-week Driven to Assist drive for school supplies to benefit 6,000 Avondale children who were returning to in-person school . Participating dealerships included Larry H . Miller Volkswagen Avondale , Larry H . Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale , and Larry H . Miller Dodge Ram Avondale .
November 12 , 2020 : LHM Liberty Toyota and LHM Toyota Colorado Springs joined forces to donate a new 2020 Toyota Sienna to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado . The vehicle will serve as transportation for parents who visit their critically ill children in a local hospital .
November 16 , 2020 : LHM Subaru Boise announced their participation in the annual Subaru Share the Love Event with donations to Wild Hearts Idaho and Idaho Youth Ranch .
November 24 , 2020 : The 22nd annual “ We Care — We Share ” Thanksgiving Meal for local homeless and low-income individuals took place in a limited-contact environment . Meals were prepared and delivered to shelters and centers in the Salt Lake City area .

November 30 , 2020 : The Larry H . Miller Group of Companies announced a weeklong food and toy drive in support of the Utah Food Bank and Marine Corps Toys for Tots to benefit Utah families during the holiday season as part of a month-long Driven to Celebrate initiative .
December 1 , 2020 : Private Company Director magazine named three of the Larry H . Miller Group ’ s board members ( Beryl Raff , Mary Lee Schneider , and Lee Bird ) ( H ) to their annual “ Directors to Watch ” list .
December 4 , 2020 : Automotive News released its rankings for “ Best Dealerships to Work For ,” and Larry H . Miller Hyundai Peoria was ranked No . 1 in the Large Dealerships category and No . 2 overall , out of 100 dealerships nationwide . This was their second year being named to the list . Larry H . Miller Ford Draper was ranked No . 5 in the Large Dealerships category and No . 38 overall .
December 7 , 2020 : As part of the Driven to Celebrate food and donation drive , Gail Miller and the Miller family announced a $ 100,000 donation match for the Utah Food Bank . At the same time , they extended the food and donation drive for a few more days , through December 11 .
December 9 , 2020 : Major League Baseball ’ s Los Angeles Angels announced that the Salt Lake Bees ( Triple-A ) had been invited to join the club ’ s player development pipeline . The Salt Lake Bees have been the Angels ’ Triple-A affiliate since 2001 .
December 9 , 2020 : Larry H . Miller Dealerships in Phoenix and Tucson , Arizona , announced the seventh annual 10 Days of Giving campaign . Together , the dealerships made multiple $ 10,000 donations to various charities in both cities .
December 14 , 2020 : Larry H . Miller Dealerships announced that they had serviced their 20 millionth vehicle . They reached the milestone on December 8 at 4:52 p . m ., when customer Rodrigo Leon , of West Jordan , Utah , brought his 2017 Dodge Charger in for an oil and filter change at Larry H . Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Sandy .

December 18 , 2020 : Gail Miller and the Miller family finalized the sale of the Utah Jazz and Vivint Arena to Ryan Smith , Qualtrics founder and tech entrepreneur . The Millers will retain a minority stake in the team .
December 20 , 2020 : Gail Miller was honored with the Resilient Utah Shield Award by KUTV Channel 2 during their Hope for the Holidays special , which aired on December 20 , 2020 . The award was presented on- air to select individuals from Utah who have set extraordinary examples of building resilience and spreading hope in their communities and throughout the world .
December 28 , 2020 : Utah ’ s LHM Megaplex Theatres scored two separate No . 1 rankings for the biggest movies opening Christmas week . Megaplex Theatres at The District in South Jordan ranked first in North America for the opening of Wonder Woman 1984 , while Megaplex Theatres at Jordan Commons in Sandy ranked first for the opening of the Tom Hanks western drama News of the World .
January 4 , 2021 : The Larry H . Miller Group of Companies announced the acquisition of Advanced Health Care Corporation ( AHC ) ( I ), one of the largest pure-play postacute transitional care providers in the country . AHC operates in many Western states , including Arizona , California , Colorado , Idaho , Kansas , Nevada , New Mexico , and Utah .
January 11 , 2021 : Scott Garrard , of The Zone Sports Network , a veteran of more than 20 years on the Utah radio airwaves and co-host of the Hans & Scotty G show , was named the 2020 Utah Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association ( NSMA ). Garrard is a first-time honoree by the NSMA , whose members have elected each state ’ s top sportscaster and sportswriter since 1959 .
