July 8 , 2020 : The Utah Jazz , B Corp , and outdoor brand Cotopaxi collaborated to support Utah ’ s COVID-19 relief efforts through sales of limited edition # OneUtah T-shirts . Proceeds are benefiting the COVID-19 Community Response Fund , which was formed in March by Silicon Slopes .
July 15 , 2020 : LHM Dealerships announced its Driven to Assist campaign , a food drive held July 20-31 to help Arizona children and families receive the food they need during the COVID-19 crisis . Donations gathered at dealerships were provided to St . Mary ’ s Food Bank in Phoenix and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona in Tucson .
July 27 , 2020 : The Salt Lake Bees , the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels , ranked in the Top 25 of Minor League Baseball ( MiLB ) merchandise sales for the sixth consecutive year in 2019 , according to MiLB data .
July 27 , 2020 : Silver Waves Media named Jazz owner Gail Miller , Jazz player Donovan Mitchell , and head coach Quin Snyder to its list of the 100 Most Influential People in the NBA . To be considered for this list , the individual
D must be currently active in their field . The list was compiled after months of research , speaking with players , GMs , assistant GMs , agents , NBA executives , money managers , and other influencers in the NBA .
August 20 , 2020 : Gail Miller received an honorary doctorate in business from Utah Valley University and was the keynote speaker during the university ’ s 2020 commencement .
August 22 , 2020 : Jazz Gaming Head Coach Jelani “ Comp ” Mitchell was named the NBA 2K League Coach of the Year . In his second season with Jazz Gaming , “ Comp ” guided the team to a 14-2 (. 875 ) regular-season record , its best in franchise history , and earned the No . 2 seed in the playoffs . “ Comp ” was selected in a vote by players , coaches , team managers , and media .
August 28 , 2020 : LHM Sports & Entertainment ( D ) and the Salt Lake County Clerk ’ s Office announced that Vivint Arena and three Megaplex Theatres would serve as polling stations for the general election on November 3 as an alternative for people unable to vote by mail . Polling locations were at Vivint Arena in downtown Salt Lake City , Megaplex Luxury Theatres at Cottonwood in Holladay , Megaplex Theatres at The District in South Jordan , and Megaplex Theatres at Jordan Commons in Sandy .
September 8 , 2020 : Larry H . Miller Hyundai Peoria received the Hyundai Board of Excellence award for 2020 . This honor , the highest a Hyundai dealership can receive , recognizes the top-performing dealers for their achievements in sales and customer experience .
September 8 , 2020 : The NBA announced that Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was named to the 2019-20 All-NBA Defensive First Team . It is the fourth time that he has garnered All-NBA Defensive First Team accolades after being voted to the squad in every season since 2016-17 .
September 10 , 2020 : Representatives from Larry H . Miller Colorado Jeep ( F ) presented a check for $ 10,000 to The Joshua School for the purchase of iPads and laptops to support students and teachers in remote learning .

October 5 , 2020 : Rich Hyde ( E ), a longtime employee of Prestige Financial Services , was named as president of Prestige . Hyde had served as COO of Prestige and as a member of various boards and organizations related to the financial and automotive industries . Hyde replaced Dave Smith , who had served as interim president following the retirement of longtime president Bryant Henrie .
October 28 , 2020 : Gail Miller and the Miller family announced the sale of the Utah Jazz , Vivint Arena , and other sports properties to Qualtrics founder and CEO Ryan Smith and his wife , Ashley .
