• For judges, this includes actions such as“ liking” or commenting on content involving horses, exhibitors, or trainers during an ongoing event which they are judging.
• Refrain from discussing pending disciplinary matters, protests, investigations, or confidential Board deliberations
• Avoid negative public commentary on individual exhibitors, trainers, horses, or judging decisions
• Refrain from using social media to criticize WSCA policies; concerns should be directed to WSCA leadership through appropriate channels
• Abstain from online disputes with members or participants
• Maintain neutrality in matters that could reasonably come before the Board in an official capacity
• Avoid posts that could undermine confidence in the fairness, governance, or credibility of WSCA 7. Reporting Violations & Enforcement
Alleged violations of this policy must be submitted in writing to WSCA leadership and include supporting documentation( e. g., screenshots or copies of content), date, platform, and a brief description of the concern. All reports will be reviewed confidentially in accordance with WSCA disciplinary procedures.
WSCA reserves the right to take action when online conduct harms the Association’ s integrity, reputation, operations, or welfare standards. WSCA may, at its sole discretion, remove social media posts on its accounts that it deems to have violated the standards of this policy.
