The Tissot-Superpole Awards are given out at the end of the season to the riders from the WorldSBK , WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 classes who score the greatest number of points in the Tissot-Superpole qualifying sessions . The award is thus given to the riders who perform best over the whole season in the very particular discipline of going faster than their peers to secure pole position . There is one important exception . For the headline WorldSBK category only there are also points awarded based on results of the ten-lap Tissot-Superpole sprint races , which take place on Sunday mornings . Tissot-Superpole qualifying sessions are not the first points scoring opportunities of each race weekend , but they are the first big awards that a rider can earn for their pre-race efforts .
The Pirelli Best Lap Awards are earned by the riders in the WorldSBK , WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 categories who are the most successful at securing the fastest laps in their respective classes , and given out after a full season of racing . Should two riders share the same total of fastest laps after the final round , the rider with the most Lap Records that year will be adjudged the winner . In the WorldSBK category itself , which features three races in total at each round , only the full-distance Race 1 and Race 2 results will be considered when adding to each rider ’ s total in their efforts to win the coveted Pirelli Best Lap Award outright .

De Tissot-Superpole Awards worden aan het einde van het seizoen uitgereikt aan de rijders uit de WorldSBK- , WorldSSP- en WorldSSP300-klassen die het hoogste aantal punten scoren in de Tissot-Superpole kwalificatiesessies . De prijs wordt dus toegekend aan de rijders die over het hele seizoen het best presteren in de zeer bijzondere discipline om sneller te gaan dan hun concurrenten in strijd om de pole position te bemachtigen . Er is één belangrijke uitzondering . Alleen voor de WorldSBK-hoofdklasse worden er ook punten toegekend op basis van de resultaten van de Tissot- Superpole sprintraces over tien ronden , die op zondagochtend plaatsvinden . De Tissot-Superpole kwalificaties zijn niet de eerste mogelijkheid op punten in een raceweekeinde , maar het kan dus wel de eerste grote prijs zijn die een rijder kan verdienen voor zijn inspanningen voorafgaand aan de race .
De Pirelli Best Lap Awards worden gewonnen door de rijders in de WorldSBK- , WorldSSP- en WorldSSP300-categorieën die het meest succesvol zijn in het neerzetten van de snelste ronden in hun respectievelijke klassen en worden uitgereikt na een volledig seizoen racen . Als twee rijders na de laatste race hetzelfde totaal aan snelste ronden hebben , wordt de rijder met de meeste ronderecords van dat jaar als winnaar aangewezen . In de WorldSBK-categorie , met in totaal drie races per weekeinde , worden alleen de resultaten van race 1 en race 2 geteld in de strijd om de felbegeerde Pirelli Best Lap Award .

SCORING RULES REGELS VOOR PUNTENTELLING

Through all WorldSBK classes the points awarded for each finishing position inside the top 15 of a full race are the same . A much shortened ‘ long ’ race can also be deemed finished by the authorities , but if less than 2 / 3rds of the planned distance has been completed then only half-points will be scored . For a full race the points awarded are 25 for a win , 20 for second , 16 for third , 13 for fourth , 11 for fifth and ten for sixth . One point less is then earned for each subsequent finishing place down to 15th - which scores a single point . In the ten-lap WorldSBK-only Tissot-Superpole race points are awarded in the range of 12 for a win , 9 for second , 7 for third , 6 for fourth and then one point less for each subsequent classification , down to one point for ninth place .
In alle WorldSBK-klassen is de puntentelling hetzelfde . Een ingekorte ' lange ' race kan door de wedstrijdleiding ook als gefinisht worden beschouwd , maar als er dan minder dan 2 / 3e van de geplande afstand is afgelegd , worden slechts halve punten gescoord . Voor een volledige race zijn de toegekende punten 25 voor winst , 20 voor tweede , 16 voor derde , 13 voor vierde , 11 voor vijfde en tien voor zesde . Voor elke volgende finishplaats tot aan de 15e plaats - die één punt oplevert - wordt steeds één punt minder verdiend . In de Tissot-Superpole race over tien ronden worden punten toegekend in de orde van grootte van 12 voor een overwinning , 9 voor een tweede , 7 voor een derde , 6 voor een vierde en vervolgens één punt minder voor elke volgende klassering , tot één punt voor de negende plaats .
