SIBERIA EXIT-T7-T8 / HAYSHED
This is as much about throttle control as it is racing line , having your weight in the right spot . Also about keeping your front wheel on the ground , as you do get a little bit of crosswind there . Picking up the throttle quite early there is important and having confidence to throw the front in hard . Then you pick up the bike with throttle and steer it with the rear . I like that section , all the way up to Lukey Heights . That is probably my favourite section .

T5-T6 / SIBERIA
It is kinda like the Southern Loop but a small version . You almost have two apexes . Not quite as much on the first entry but on the second entry we are touching the white line on the exit . If you run it in a bit too hard there you can get chatter , so you can run off line and lose a lot of corner speed . This definitely the bumpiest corner and it is very hard to get it right .
8 T3 / STONER CORNER
T4 / Miller Corner
You are keeping track position on the right so it is hard for anyone to pass - but if you stay too right you turn in a bit too early , go a little bit wide mid-corner , then someone else can shove it up the inside of you . Which I used to do that a lot there as well on the other guys . It is one of my favourite places to overtake . If you can get your position right , and are confident on the brakes , you can do OK there .

You are flicking it in with two sets of balls at Stoner Corner . A very fast corner .

GARDNER STRAIGHT TO T1 / DOOHAN CORNER |

|
You are in top gear well before entering T1 . It is more about balls going in there , to be honest . You have to carry as much speed as possible into it , that ’ s for sure . You are pushing real hard with the front … which sucks , because it is fast and you don ’ t want to be crashing there . But you have to do it . You want to open the gas and spin a little bit so that you can get it pointed to the right before having to turn left into T2 . Spinningup towards the second corner is good because you can carry a bit more speed .
T2 / THE SOUTHERN LOOP
You still have a bit of heat in the left hand side of the tyre because you ’ ve been spinning the hell out of it on the final two corners , so it ’ s still hot by T2 . You kind of do a half apex on the first turn in and then the second one you are apexing on the exit . There is a little bit of a straight after so you pick the bike up , get it straight , and you are usually fighting the wind there . The bike is getting shimmies going along that little straight .
