Looking to tone up and trim down? This low-impact but high results 45-minute full body workout focuses on strength training and isometric movements. This class strengthens and fine tunes your main muscle groups and muscles you may not even know you have! Slower paced moves with lighter weights to contract your muscles in a different way. Join this specialized class where you will get individual attention from Katie and learn the best way to move your specific body. Each move can be modified or amplified depending on your specific needs.
Katie Brown is a Certified Health Coach and Fitness Instructor with years of experience teaching and coaching individual growth in a group fitness environment.

Foundations of Tai Chi
Instructor: Cheri Maffei-Wolff Ages 18 + • Banks Gym 8 – week session
This series of classes is ideal for those with no prior Tai chi experience. It is also recommended for those who wish to refresh the foundations of the form prior to joining an intermediate class.
Foundations of Tai Chi is based on the Yang Style 24-form, as well as Qigong( Chi-gong) breathing and patterned movements for restoration and longevity. Guidance is offered through functional movements which benefit our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and train our overall balance and inner awareness.
Dress comfortably with loose, comfortable clothing and flat shoes with minimal tread( ex. Keds, Vans, Sperrys) to prevent sticking.

Tai Chi Intermediate Class
Instructor: Cheri Maffei-Wolff K. C. Mind Body Studio • Ages 18 + 8 – week session
This series of classes is designed for those who have previously taken Cheri’ s Foundations( Beginner) Class series or have had prior Yang Style training. Through repetition of the 24-form, emphasis will be placed on filling the movements with efficiency and power. Our weekly practices will improve our understanding of each movement, applications, and transitions.
Dress comfortably with loose, comfortable clothing and flat shoes with minimal tread( ex. Keds, Vans, Sperrys) to prevent sticking.
