Unfortunately in some publications and broadcasts, journalism has been reduced to the quality of sleazy tabloids. The rush to be first results in unconfirmed facts. Online purchases gain more and more popularity making it hard for brick and mortar stores. In fact, I must confess that when the mouse I use for my little con- vertible laptop/tablet died, instead of rushing out to the store to buy a new one (I’m all thumbs with touchpads) I simply went onto Amazon and ordered one, knowing I would have it in no time with Amazon Prime.
