When it comes to exercise, it seems as though most people either love it or hate it. For those who claim to hate exercising, it is most likely because of the intimidating reputation that it has as opposed to the aspect of hard work.

With unrealistic images of incredibly fit, healthy-looking individuals flooding the media (thanks to photoshop), it is understandable why some people are reluctant towards working out—a phenomenon known as ‘gymtimidation’.

Many people feel as if their bodies will never look the same as the bodies of those in the media. And maybe that is true. However, that does not mean you should not work out at all.
