Once again a very sad note: In October pastor Giorgio Tourn died in his village Rorà. He was 95 and his last book had just come out, La mia Emmaus – My Emmaus – a semi-autobiographical reflection on his many years of believing, preaching and writing. He was another of my mentors, met when I was 15 in Agape where we would alternate mountain climbing in Summer – or skiing in Winter – with serious lectures that today would be considered University level! When I grew up, he became a good friend and he christened our first child, our daughter Viola, in Torre Pellice where he was the minister. More about him too in the upcoming Summer issue.
