On 3 September the Waldensian Church Mission organised a celebration of our‘ first’ 200 years‘ From GILLY and BECKWITH to nowadays 1825 – 2025’ at the Foresteria Valdese, Torre Pellice, with speakers Simone Maghenzani, Zizzi Platone and Erica Scroppo Newbury and greetings from the president of Società di Studi valdesi Gian Paolo Romagnani and Michel Charbonnier, pastor of Torre Pellice. Over 65 people came – including Moderator Trotta – and not just because of the sumptuous tea we all were treated to.
