the early years of us writing together. We were where we’re at personally? the scripture talking about how deep calls into really just stuck at different points because deep, you know when you’re reading the word we were thought, “How are we going to write And you can tell, as you were saying, you of God and there is a scripture that you’ve read something that no one else has ever written? can tell when someone is leading something a million times, but you’re reading it again like How are we going to make this special?” As with authority that they have walked through it’s the first time because it’s for you right now. creatives you always want to make something themselves, that they have lived themselves. I I feel like hearing a song is the exact same as that’s special, that no one has ever done before can tell for myself as a leader, when I’m singing that, I need to hear it right now and it’s hitting and that’s going to stick out of the crowd, and about something that I’ve lived and that I’ve differently right now because of the season of really what is the most impactful for me is not seen God do first hand versus something that life that I’m walking through. something that’s never been done before but I don’t connect with as much, I feel different something’s that has been said that I heard at about it and I feel different about bringing That’s what we’re looking to do as worship the right time. That’s really what the prophetic other people into it. I just think it’s so important leaders and songwriters, is hear that voice of is for us. So, we write. and as we lead that is as worship leaders and as songwriters that God and connect people to it. what we’re seeking. We’re asking God, these we’re trying to… of course we’re trying to be are fun words, this is a fresh new way of saying creative and were trying to find special ways [Bryan] We lead about once a month at our something, this is a fresh new title of a song or to say things, but really that we are foremost local church Jesus Culture, and we’re singing an interesting thought or whatever, but is this seeking out what God wants to say right now. all of the songs that everyone is singing in what you’re saying right now? Is this in time? Is Because the timing is just right. I just feel like their local churches, it’s not just our own this prophetic for this season of life where our it carries so much more weight and we’re not songs or Jesus Culture songs.
