cables. After getting a rough idea of where to put everything, I was ready to start. For this build, I’ m using the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 3 Plus and an additional Pedal Power X4 expander. The board will have 15 pedals plus an RJM mastermind PBC 10 and a Goodwood Underfacer. Thirteen pedals and the PBC 10 are powered by the Pedal Power 3, and four more with the X4 expander. Fortunately, the Voodoo Lab has two 12VDC 1A outputs. I can use one for the power-hungry H-90 and the other for the X4 expander.
Power Cables: I carefully read the instructions on the back of the DC plug solder-free kit and decided it would be better to look on YouTube for some more help. I found several videos that were super helpful. It’ s nice to watch someone else do it. I also recommend having a few additional tools: a wire cutter, a cable tester, and a ruler that shows millimeters.
