and Dave for quite some time and I barely knew Charles, but I’ve known Hillary and Dave’s heart for the Lord and I thought that it would be so special and powerful. I sent them a couple songs, and they said it would be amazing if we wrote one together. So, we get in a room together for the first time, I didn’t know how that would go, and Charles, he just got real really quick, really vulnerable. He said, “When I think about faith, for so many years faith was about Sunday school stories and the stories I’d hear in church, and Bible stories, and nothing more than that. In the last few years I’ve been in a really tough place in my life, and I’ve really found God to become personal to me in a special way”, and he said, “I think a lot of people probably feel the same way.” That moment when God becomes something more than just words on a page, something that is really a personal relationship that begins. Can you tell us about this magnificent recording? [Chris] This is Blessing, the artists name is Blessing and he is from Nigeria. He is blind, and there is a reason this song ends the record, because I feel like it’s probably the most special song on the record to me. I heard of this song two years ago, and I’d been tracking with Blessing a little bit, and his music. As I was thinking about how to complete this record, there was one day out of this quarantine time and it just hit me and I remembered this song. I thought that this would be an incredible song 14 September 2020 Subscribe for Free...
