If you ’ re not using a modeler , you might want to consider using an A / B box from someone like Radial so you can run your acoustic sounds direct and your electric sounds through a pedalboard and amp setup . One of Fender ’ s Tone Master offerings would be ideal for this since you can get classic Fender tones using the direct out with zero stage volume , if so desired . Since each of the Tone Master offerings feature two channels , you could also use the A / B box to toggle between two signal chains there and run that direct out when you get to church .
KEY DIFFERENCES The biggest differences between the APT and it ’ s north of the border counterparts are the three-way switch and lower number of tones on board , 9v battery format , and price point . Also missing is the body transducer which is good for acoustic loopers , but I found that the Fishman under saddle piezo did not leave me wanting when I wanted to tap a groove on the body . The APT features the following new finishes : Butterscotch Blonde , Shadow Burst , Arctic White , and Brushed Black .
CONCLUSION Whether you ’ re a worship leader or worship guitar player looking for one guitar that goes where no other has gone before , the APT delivers tremendous value and craftsmanship .
