3-WAY VOICE SELECTOR This switch functions much like a traditional Tele pickup selector and is how you choose which pair of sounds you want to select and morph between using the Blend Knob . Fender refers to the traditional neck , middle , and bridge positions by the numbers three , two , and one respectively .
BLEND KNOB Akin to a Tone Control on steroids , turning this knob to either extreme gives your choice of two tones , while the range in between enables you to blend then . Fender refers to the two extremes as A ( all the way ‘ down ’) and B ( all the way ‘ up ’).
ACOUSTIC ENGINE Sweeping from position 3A to 3B enables you to select or blend a ‘ mahogany small body short scale ’ and ‘ rosewood dreadnought ’ models respectively . Sweeping from position 2A to 2B shifts enables you to select or blend a ‘ lo-fi clean ‘ tone utilizing the unaffected sound of the under-saddle pickup and a ‘ lo-fi crunch ’ tone that adds some dirt to the signal to replicate the sound of double-tracked acoustic and electric guitars .
