I was fortunate to again visit this past July and had a wonderful time. Vendors contribute generous raffle prizes that are given away daily alongside an amazing clinic lineup and demonstrations from notable drummers. It’ s two days of an impressive 60,000 square feet of percussion, and nearly 200 vendor booths encouraging you to sample their products, including WFLIII, Dixon, Gretsch, Slingerland, Yamaha, DW Drums, Zildian, Paiste, and Sabian Cymbals. These are but a few, but where else can you do this? Yes, it IS loud, but you will have a lot of fun.
You will also have a chance to visit booths catering to online and mail order purchases. These are reputable dealers here that you can trust.

The Music City Drum Show has a focus on community. There are country music drummers, jazz players, rock players, worship drummers, heavy metal players, and everything in between. This show is about our drumming family sharing our common bond of rhythm.
Organized and produced by drummer Landon Hall, you can visit the website for information and updates. I asked Landon about the show and he said,“ The Music City Drum Show was created to bring together the drumming and percussion community in the Greater Nashville area and beyond. What started as a grassroots effort has grown into an international gathering of artists, brands, and fans from all corners of the world. Our mission is to create an inclusive and inspiring space where drummers of all levels can connect, discover new gear, and share in the passion that drives this community. With a focus on drum displays, product launches, networking, and world-class clinics, our goal is to make this event the‘ Super Bowl’ of the drumming and percussion world— right here in Music City.”
Again, it’ s about community. There’ s a friendly and helpful attitude that permeated this unique event, and I encourage you to make plans for next year whether for yourself, or if you are on a scouting mission for your church. Annual church budgets are being planned right now. We’ re all in this together.
