In a unique approach last year , Mosaic MSC released a series of worship anthems one by one , recorded live at Mosaic in Hollywood . The songs have now been collectively released on all streaming platforms as the EP entitled Sunday Vol . 1 ( Live )”.
The songs are largely anthemic in their approach , with memorable choruses , singable lyrics , and strong melodies .
What rings true for musicians , songwriters , and singers is that Mosaic MSC ’ s focus is to cultivate creativity , culture , and community , and they ’ ve been able to do it on sold-out global tours with Chris Tomlin and other artists . With global impact resulting in over 268 million streams , and chart-topping songs finding their way into the church , Mosaic MSC has arrived . We visited with Mariah McManus Goss , Carlos Pimentel , and Aaron Weits for this interview time .

[ Mariah ] Oh , nice . DTLA represent .
[ Aaron ] That ’ s awesome !
[ WM ] I always went to Philippe ’ s on the way to the Dodger game with my Dad .
[ Mariah ] Did you live in LA ? [ WM ] No , I ’’ m an Orange County rat . But growing up in the sixties , I was in LA all the time for the concerts at the Shrine Auditorium . All the great bands from the sixties back when it was two bucks tor a concert ticket and a full tank of gas was just $ 2.50 .
[ Mariah ] Oh my gosh .
[ WM ] It was amazing . Well , it ’ s so good to see you guys today . We haven ’ t had a visit for almost two years , and that was back in the May 2022 issue of Worship Musician . So thank you for this opportunity .

[ WM ] I remember you telling me about your yearly worship team retreats , and as I remember at that time they were in Wyoming . Are you still having those songwriting getaways ?
[ Mariah ] No , but Wyoming ’ s amazing . We went two years in a row . I think probably when

we had talked was maybe the second time we had been and we haven ’ t been since . Okay . It ’ s like a beautifully inspiring place . We talk about going back probably every day , but we haven ’ t been back yet .
[ WM ] Okay . I had wanted to ask you if any of the new songs came out of those songwriting retreats . but I guess they did not , correct ?
