UNITED
Are We There Yet ? what our earthly experience is now .

Like most UNITED albums , many of these tracks find themselves rooted in the rock / pop musical genre and most are well over five minutes in length . Lyrically the album does a fairly decent job of avoiding the dreaded Christian cliché , and there are a few bright spots where the music takes a sudden left turn out of the ordinary . But for the most part , this latest cluster of worship holds fairly steady to past UNITED experiences .

Worship icon Hillsong UNITED , now known simply as UNITED is back on the scene in 2022 with their newest studio worship collection entitled , Are We There Yet ?
The huge 15 song collection finds its thematic center on focusing the worshiper to live in constant expectation of heaven no matter
Some of the brighter spots in the album include “ Show Me Your Heart ” which is led by Taya , whose tender vocals draw the listener into this fervent prayer of worship . “ Sure Thing ” features a sped up almost urban version of “ The Solid Rock ”. Here , Joel Houston begins on a piano with vibrating loops as he passionately sings about his inner need for real change as he dives deep into the idea of how important it is for us to build our life on the solid rock rather than sinking sand .
“ Delightful ( The Sower Never Wastes a Tear )” is a delightfully creative re-telling of the Parable of the Sower and “ God Song ” is a humbly delivered story of vertical worship from Taya and Joel Houston as their voices mesh together seamlessly in this hymn-like song of hope .
Even though there are some nice moments and songs that captured this reviewer , I would say this is not the strongest collection from the band from down under . There really isn ’ t that strong , standout chart topper like on albums such as Zion or Empires . That being said however , fans of UNITED will enjoy this new album .
