[ WM ] Phil , it ' s not self-serving for you to retell that story . There is a lost art form called testimony . You know , the church doesn ' t do that so much anymore . It used to be an important part of church alongside fellowship , prayer , worship , and the sermon . Testimony was in there . And you don ' t hear it a much anymore . It doesn ’ t fit within the tight schedules of much of the new liturgy . So , I don ' t think it ' s self-serving . That ' s a good story .
[ Phil ] Well , let me know . The reason why I share this and I ' m so excited about it is obviously I had nothing to do with it ! Like I got this song out of nowhere from the Lord , I put it out and the Lord saw it . I was so blessed by the Father ' s heart over this guy ' s life that he would have created this random occurrence . I didn ' t do anything . I was just a tired dude , getting out of a car , not knowing what the heck was going on . You know , so maybe that ' s like the little caveat or whatever , you know ?
[ WM ] Well , it won ' t go away . Although I don ' t feel my age , I can tell you that after all these decades , I still get people coming up to me that said they they got saved in a Way concert , or a Daniel Amos ( DA ) event , or a Larry Norman concert . So , it will continue to happen for you as well . dates , and Fall Singalong Tour are coming up . What are your thoughts about getting out there and the privilege of leading the church in song , after such a long time in isolation ?
[ Phil ] Well , we actually started getting out there in January and getting our feet wet with these worship nights . And honestly , these worship nights are the recipe for being awkward . Especially in January . You know , we would go to some states that were a little bit more open than others , even though it was Texas or Georgia , or wherever we were . We were selling some rooms to only 30 % capacity ,
