This is a massive event.” And we both looked at each other and we were like,“ There’ s only one way we do the Night of Worship and that’ s with The Belonging Co. We can’ t do it separate from The Belonging.” It just felt like it was such a natural thing and especially because Bernie and I have been a part of The Belonging for 10 years now and the radical impact it’ s had on our lives, on our ministry, on our family, on our kids, we just thought any chance we get to expose people, but especially creatives that they’ ll understand excellence, which The Belonging Co has all that. But then there’ s excellence meets presence.
I feel like The Belonging is a very, unique place and that there’ s no compromise on the musicality. There’ s no compromise on the being excellent at your craft while also fully leaning in to allowing the Holy Spirit to have his way and not feeling like you have to over produce or over perfect. It’ s very unique in that way. So, getting to call Henry and say,“ I don’ t know if you guys are going to have any time for this because of being in the middle of the record, but it was just an instant yes from them. And that’ ll go down for me as a very special moment that we all got to be a part of together and to see just the amount of people that I was like, they’ re not going to know what’ s going on. We know how this event goes, but there were thousands of people that kind of came out to be a part of that.
[ WM ] And so you got to walk the floor and experience it? And did you visit any of the endorsement companies?
[ Natalie ] I didn’ t get to because I just got to come in, do the event and go. But I actually know that Henry went in early just so he could. He’ s heard of NAMM obviously and had never been. So, for him, I think it was like he was having kind of a cool, awesome, not pastor Henry moment, but his musician Henry moment.
[ Andrew ] Yeah. I was the same way, but I know he got to walk around. What I was so struck by was I’ d never really thought about
