There’ s something so unique and special. And I feel like when we started listening to songs, that one rose to the top and then just the idea of that title for the whole album felt like it was such a perfect way to sum up the whole thing. And so, it kind of became the title after we wrote it.
[ WM ] I love that backstory to this, and I must ask you a question because I’ ve interviewed your pastor, Henry Seeley, before. Watching the videos from the Belonging Co Conference on YouTube, it reminded me of a true story. Many years ago, I was at The Vineyard’ s 25th reunion. There were two green rooms backstage. One green room was for pastors, vineyard pastors, and the other green room was for musicians, worship leaders. John Wimber, who was the patriarch of The Vineyard, and a songwriter and musician, was there of course. I asked him a question. I said,“ John, how come you’ re hanging out over here with the musicians and not the pastors?” And he said,“ Because musicians are more fun.” I say that because I want to find out about your relationship with your pastor, Henry. Which green room would Henry sit in?
[ Andrew ]( laughing) That’ s amazing.
[ Natalie ]( laughing) If we were to say something about Henry, he probably wouldn’ t be in the green room. He’ s kind of an antigreen room kind of a guy. So that’ d probably be the first thing you’ d be like,“ Oh, if there’ s a green room.” But no, we have green rooms at our church, but I don’ t know, Andrew, he’ s a worship leader and a musician to his core. That is who Henry is and he has become a senior pastor out of obedience. I feel like we’ ve watched in real time somebody lay down what their proclivity, their natural inclination and even what they enjoy the most. We’ ve watched them( Henry and Alex) lay that down out of an obedience to what the Lord was asking them to do. And I feel like God has blessed it and has allowed Henry to still be a part. I mean, his fingerprints are so a part of everything that worship does at our church, but he also has a real knack for finding amazing people.
Andrew Holt here started coming to our church when he was like,“ Nothing but wee lad.” Literally. And so talk about an amazing worship pastor at such a young age. So, Henry never has ever fully come out of it. He is such close friends with Andrew and has such an incredible partnership with Andrew. So, Andrew can speak to that more, but Henry would definitely be with the musicians.
[ Andrew ] For sure. Yeah. I mean, I think even on this project, if you look at those videos and see all the people who are a part of it in the band and singing, I know that a big reason we were drawn to our church is because we have a pastor who loves creatives and has a
