5 Cool Things I Saw @ NAMM by Chris Rocha
As a musician, I had the chance to check out the latest gear at NAMM 2026, and I’ m excited to share my top 5 picks with you.
DSM HUMBOLDT DUMBLIFIER This pedal is a gamechanger for tone chasers. The Dumblifier offers authentic, non-digital tube amp tones inspired by the legendary Dumble Overdrive Special. With its two-channel 35- watt design, cascading overdrive channel, and buffered effects loop, you’ ll be getting juicy, customizable tones. I put out a video playing this pedal and totally love the tones I created with it. Go find you one and buy it ASAP. $ 569
NUCLEO REVERB PEDAL FROM CORNERSTONE The Nucleo Reverb Pedal is a collaboration with Paul Davids, featuring three reverb engines( Reactor, Room, Hall) with three voicings each. It offers 90-second decay, freeze and freezepitch modes, and transformer-isolated stereo outputs. With MIDI integration, USB audio, and intuitive controls, this pedal is a dream for ambient and atmospheric soundscapes. I played it for a while and within the first five seconds I was sold. The high-res verb that comes out of this pedal is a‘ whole-notherlevel!’ $ 599
C. F. MARTIN ROAD SERIES GPC 13E I had the privilege of creating content with this guitar the day before NAMM and was super impressed with it. As soon as I hit a chord, a few guys around me were shocked at what they heard. Martin’ s Road Series just got a serious refresh, with 18 new models split into Retro and Modern lines. The
GPC 13E features a Solid Sitka spruce top, scalloped X-bracing, FSC Certified Richlite fingerboard and bridge, and a glossy body with a matte-finish and a modern-taper soft C-shape neck.
Plays great! $ 1,499
DAVINCI FROM CREAM GUITARS Cream Guitars’ Davinci is a stunning instrument with a rich, unique sound. The paint on this guitar literally changes colors and looks unbelievable, it’ s clear that Cream Guitars is pushing the boundaries of guitar design and tone. They’ re also working in features to where the neck of the guitar warms up like a heating pad. Crazy cool stuff. $ 2,500
FENDER STUDIO PRO Fender’ s Studio Pro is a powerful music creation software, built on PreSonus’ awardwinning Studio One platform. It features Fender’ s renowned amps and effects models, 9 virtual instruments, over 70 FX pedals, and 45 native effects. With AI-powered stem separation, chord assistant, and seamless integration Fender Studio Pro offers so much for musicians and producers. I did some content on the DAW and the tones I created with the native amps and effects blew my head clean off. Click here for my review. $ 99 for the upgrade and up.
These products caught my eye at NAMM 2026, and I’ m excited to see how they’ ll shape the music world. NAMM is always fun and exciting but this year I believe it was the best year yet.
