Playability wise these guitars impressed me and are so much better in playability and sound quality than the instruments I started out with ( but still own for sentimental reasons only ). In their advertisements Epiphone says that this would be a young persons first forever guitar and honestly after playing them that isn ’ t an exaggeration . Although if one of the parents in the house plays also , then you might be sneaking time with this guitar yourself . Besides being an incredible learning tool for a beginner these guitars are perfect for travel when you need to practice on the road but don ’ t want to haul a full-sized instrument .
At $ 279 street the Epiphone Power Player guitars are an incredible value that will help inspire young musicians to play and practice more . Hanging in the office during this review everyone wanted to pick it up and play it and then didn ’ t want to put it down . Chrome pickup covers , vintage style knobs , enclosed machine heads and nicely dressed frets . I couldn ’ t find anything to dislike about the Epiphone Power Player guitars and the headstock redesign looks classy too .
I would even recommend keeping one or two of these in your Youth Group music area to encourage kids to play them . For less than $ 300 Epiphone is providing a quality-built instrument with all the accessories and a playability that surpasses many guitars that cost twice this much . What child seeking to learn or adult needing a travel guitar wouldn ’ t be thrilled with one of the Epiphone Power Player guitars - they are a hit !
