NEW MUSIC
RED ROCKS WORSHIP Ascend motif , Chandler Moore powerfully sings about how God never lets go of us and we are a work in progress in this life for His glory .
“ Jehovah ” features Chris Brown and is a Holy Spirit fueled song of celebration about all the incredible ways our God works on our behalf . “ Trust In God ” is a creative reworking of the beloved hymn “ Blessed Assurance ” that shows the true talent and soulful vocals of Chris Brown as he reminds us that there is nothing our God cannot do .
“ Runnin ” speaks of how our God never stops yearning for His people to return to Him and features the gravelly southern vocals of Brandon Lake . Although the idea of a God who “ runs ” after us has reached the overdone stage , the creativity and overall memorability of the song is catchy and easy to sing along with .
The Tiffany Hudson-led “ Been So Good ” is a gorgeously written ballad that highlight ’ s Hudson ’ s angelic soprano as she sings , “ You have been so good to me God , I can ’ t believe how You love me , what a friend You have been .”
Can You Imagine is a decent release with a few bright moments , but perhaps not in the same ballpark as Elevation ’ s prior two albums … but still definitely worth a listen .

Red Rocks Worship is the music ministry of Red Rocks Church which is a multi-campus congregation based in Denver , Co . It has been two years since they released their last album , Things of Heaven which received national acclaim . Their 7 th full length release is a big one with a whopping 14 tracks and is the culmination of a year ’ s worth of writing and performing from the members of the collective .
The title track sets up the album well as worship leader Tyler Roberts begins the worship experience by asking a simple question found in Psalm 24 ; “ Who can ascend the mountain of God ?” The question ( and its obvious answer )
is a direct reminder that all of humanity needs the mercy of our God who gives it freely to all who ask . This track would be a great worship opener .
“ Miracle In Me ” is a powerful exploration of the cross and how what He did created an unending miracle in all of humanity . The bridge is full of joyful declarations of the power of the cross .
Songs like “ Can ’ t Get Enough ”, “ What a Gift ” and “ Only You Are Holy ” are fairly typical modern worship songs with pads , ethereal guitars and soaring vocals yet are written and delivered with sincere vertical intent .
“ Living For The First Time ” brings the musical energy back up with raucous drums and driving guitars . This song reminds me of old UNITED and the arrangement seemed a bit dated and out of place to be honest .
Thematically the album stays pretty centered on the fact that in a world of uncertainty , we serve a God that never changes , and we need to always be reminded to lay down our burdens and let Him carry our worries because He cares for us . There are a bunch of well-conceived scripturally inspired songs on this album . Give it a listen .
