We The Kingdom ’ s new single , “ Miracle Power ”, has just been released and precedes the full new studio project and fall tour by just a few months . It ’ s been a very busy season for Ed , Scott , Martin , Franni , and Andrew , straddling covid restrictions , recording , touring , and family life . We caught up with them recently for a timely visit in the midst of the late Spring / early Summer touring .

[ We The Kingdom ] Thank you ( all ). It ’ s great to be here .
[ WM ] I listened to your new single , “ Miracle Power ”. I must say your use of dynamics is superb and I absolutely love the track . It ’ s a great rallying song for the church . One that lyrically will be a huge lift to lots of folks ! What can you tell us about this song ?

[ Andrew ] Wow ! Thank you for saying that .
[ Martin ] Thank you , bro .
[ Franni ] Gosh . Scott , you wanna ’ take this one ?
[ Scott ] Thank you , man . So , this song started three years ago , I believe , or two and a half years ago . We were on our first radio tour . We were out in the Pacific Northwest , and we were driving from Portland to Seattle , I believe , just in these beautiful mountains , and got some news that one of Ed ’ s friends had lost his son .
And we just started writing the song , man , right then and there . And I think that the term miracles , is a word that has so much baggage for so many people and I think honestly has baggage for everybody , because I feel like , especially in Christian circles , the word miracle gets abused a lot .
And it also gets tainted a lot . And I ’ ve been around Christians who would say that if you don ’ t have enough faith , you ’ ll never see a miracle .
And I ’ ve been around other Christians who say miracles don ’ t exist , and I would say that both of those are wrong , and I think both of those are really dangerous , because to me , you cannot separate the miraculous power of God from the Word of God , because it ’ s just
