Eventide has outdone itself again . The company that helped pioneer some of the most forwardthinking classic digital studio equipment is still innovating . They had tremendous success with the H9 pedal . They then released individual Dot-9 series pedals with popular Algorithms from H9 .
KEY FEATURES Now here comes the H90 “ inspiration engine ”. Imagine the power of two fully loaded H9s with 10 brand-new Algorithms ? You can choose series or parallel effects and enjoy userfriendly controls . Unlike the H9 , navigating , creating , and quickly saving new presets on board is much easier . Every parameter can be accessed with knobs , buttons , and the larger OLED screen . With the additional H90 Control Software , the creative process is seemingly endless . It ’ s the closest thing to having the sound of the flagship H9000 in a pedal .
OUT OF THE BOX : The H90 comes boxed with a handy quickstart guide and a 12vDC Power supply with 4 international plug versions . There ’ s a cool sticker , a medium guitar pick , and rubber feet too . I love that I didn ’ t have to remove those feet ! So easy to get it on the board ASAP ! It ’ s well-designed with a robust white metal chassis akin to the H9 .
On Top : The UI layout and tactile experience are rewarding . At first look , you can see someone spent a lot of time organizing the function ability of this pedal . There are two large push button knobs , Select / Bank and Perform / Hot Knob . A big bright hi-res OLED screen shows input levels , patch info , and various labeling for the three small Quick Knobs below . These three knobs also have push-button functions for multiple parameters and settings . Four small red LED buttons are labeled Program , Routing , Presets , and Parameters . Three dual-function Footswitches : Preset / Active , A / Down , and B / Up , each with LED indicator buttons . In Play mode , their colors indicate their function . In Edit mode , push for Program and Preset Active / Bypass status .
